Ahead of the highly anticipated event powered by Wondering Gifted Minds, we are getting ready to embark on a true journey through time to Blueland 2100: an ideal metropolis that, over the past seventy years, has reinvented social coexistence thanks to a powerful alliance between citizens, educators, scientists, and institutions.
On October 9, 2026, in the heart of Brussels, we will be called upon for a great challenge: working together to reconstruct the secret of Blueland.
But how will this project take shape on the ground? Let's take a closer look at how the age-divided "mission squads" powering the Belgian workshops will operate:
🎨 The Youngest Ones (Ages 8-10): The Museum of Well-being Inventions
(Motto: “If you can imagine it, you can build it”)
The youngest participants will become creators and visionaries inside the Museum of Inventions. Their mission is to design and craft symbolic yet functional objects capable of spreading happiness and empathy throughout the community: from Empathy Glasses to see how others feel, to the Friend-Finder Bracelet, and the Kind Words Cloud. Their creations will form a physical, hands-on exhibition stand for all to explore.
The Teens (Ages 11-14): A Podcast on the "School of the Future"
(Motto: “The best school in the world exists. We’re here to tell you all about it”)
How does the perfect school work? Free from traditional grades or the threat of bullying, the school of Blueland focuses entirely on emotional intelligence, inclusion, and the ethical use of new technologies. Participants will step into the shoes of journalists, students, teachers, and principals to produce a multilingual podcast telling the story of this revolutionary educational model from the inside.
Young Adults (Ages 15-18): At Work in the Cabinet of Ministers
(Motto: “A city like this doesn't happen by chance. We built it”)
The oldest participants will form the official Government of Blueland. Their ambitious task is to outline the public policies, urban reforms, social media laws, and mental health protections that turned the city into a global role model. The outcome of their legislative work will be brought to life through a digital multimedia product (website, news broadcast of the future, mini-documentary, or digital manifesto).
Early Connections and Online Workshops
The work won't wait for our physical arrival in Belgium: participants will have the opportunity to join a first online meet-up. This valuable opportunity allows the groups to break the ice, start brainstorming, and lay the foundation for collaborative teamwork before meeting in person.
The Highlight: The "Visit to Blueland"
All tracks and creations will converge in the final showcase, "Visit to Blueland"—an open event where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the Museum, listen to the Podcast episodes, and explore the digital platforms developed by our young mental health ambassadors.
