Answers to the most common questions about European Gifted Minds and the Brussels event.
Who can take part?
The initiative is open to cognitively gifted children and teenagers from different European countries. Nominations are made through partner associations or by contacting the Foundation directly.
When and where does the event take place?
The event will be held on 9 October 2026 in Brussels, at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura (Avenue de Livourne 38, 1050 Brussels).
Is there a cost to take part?
Participation for partner associations is free. For details on any individual logistical costs, please contact the Foundation.
What language is it in?
The workshop is held in English and Italian. The closing evening is in English.
Is it a competition?
No. It is not a contest and involves no performance: it is a space for free thinking and collaboration between minds that see things differently.
How can my association take part?
European associations for gifted and high-potential children can join as official partners by writing to info@carano4children.org.
What do participants receive?
Every young person taking part in the workshop receives a certificate of participation signed by the Foundation and is invited on stage during the closing evening.
