Road to Brussels
A day of collaboration between gifted children and teenagers from across Europe, followed by a closing evening with a concert and an awards ceremony.
The Workshop
On the afternoon of 9 October 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels, 30 gifted and high-potential children and young people from across Europe will come together to take part in Wondering Gifted Minds.
Guided by psychologists, pedagogists, educators, and facilitators, participants will work in small international groups through the Blueland 2100 workshop, exploring some of the major challenges facing our world.
It is a space for listening, dialogue, and collaboration, where every idea is an opportunity to build new perspectives together.
At the end of the workshop, every participant will receive an Official Certificate of Participation issued by the Carano4Children Foundation.
The Closing Evening
At 7:30 p.m., at the Théâtre Saint-Michel in Brussels, the experience continues with the Leonardo4Children Awards 2026 Concert and Award Ceremony.
Participants in Wondering Gifted Minds will be special guests of the evening and will be invited on stage to receive their Official Certificate of Participation in front of the audience.
The concert brings together outstanding young talents, internationally renowned musicians, winners of the Leonardo4Children competitions, and representatives of the European institutions, offering participants a unique experience in the heart of Brussels.
The ceremony takes place as part of the Leonardo4Children Awards 2026, held under the patronage of:

The Wondering Gifted Minds Experience
Wondering Gifted Minds is much more than a workshop.
For families who wish to extend their stay, the experience can go beyond the event on 9 October, becoming an opportunity to discover Brussels and spend informal moments with other participants from across Europe.
A number of optional activities will be available, including a walk through Brussels' famous comic-book murals, a social dinner, and informal gatherings before and after the workshop.
The organisation encourages these opportunities for connection and cultural exchange, while travel, accommodation, and participation in the optional activities are arranged and financed entirely by the families.
The goal is simple: to give young participants the opportunity to build new friendships, share meaningful experiences, and feel part of a growing European community of gifted young people that continues beyond the workshop itself.
